Upon arrival at the job
site, our crew leader will review the installation with you
and answer any questions.
The crew will remove any existing
edging and using a bed edger, they will create a trench 1-4
inches deep and 9-inches wide (see picture 1). This is where
the edging will be placed.
The concrete is mixed on a
specially designed trailer that stays in the street (see
picture 2).
The concrete is then brought to our Lil’ Bubba
® curb machine using wheel barrows.
The concrete is
shoveled into the hopper and is forced through our specially
designed molds. As the curb is forced through the mold, it
pushes the machine back and allows us to drive the machine
following the prepared trench (see picture 3).
The concrete
is then hand finished achieving a smooth texture (see
picture 4).
Overlay, stamping, and sealer are applied at
this time.
